Who We Are...

The IDA and Asset Building Collaborative of North Carolina is a statewide organization serving as the central coordinating agency for asset-based development in North Carolina.

NC IDA Collaborative operates a multi-faceted organization conducting technical assistance and training for new and existing Individual Development Account (IDA) programs; fostering partnerships and networks among program partners, state policy makers and funders; and researching asset-building strategies that will build wealth among North Carolina families.

The IDA and Asset Building Collaborative of North Carolina is a private, non-profit organization funded by public and private sources.

NC IDA Collaborative Vision...

We envision a statewide, comprehensive public/private system that supports, encourages, and invests in asset building among low-wealth North Carolina residents as a strategy for attaining long-term economic self-sufficiency.

NC IDA Collaborative Mission...

The mission of NC IDA Collaborative is to promote wealth creation among North Carolina's low wealth residents through supporting and building community programs, changing public policies, fostering coalitions, and advocating for other asset building strategies that promote economic self-sufficiency.
